Shabbat

Shabbat.

" There was a time when Jews were very poor, they were treated miserably, but on Shabbat they turned into Kings and Queens ; they ate well and dressed well. When Shabbat ended on Saturday afternoon there was sadness.

Today is different, we all come from a comfortable setting, Shabbat does not mean the same as before in that sense.
In today's world we turn off our phones etc, Shabbat is a chance to meet friends to get to really like people ( not in the Facebook sense.)
There is something liberating about not being tied to gadgets."
